2009 WriteMark award for BSML designed website
The New Zealand Fisheries Info Site, a project recently completed by BSML for the Ministry of Fisheries, won "
the people's choice - best plain English website" award at the WriteMark awards ceremony at the old museum in Wellington on 18 September 2009.
This category was judged by a national and international panel, against the WriteMark plain English standards. The criteria the judges assessed the site against comprise strategic purpose, credibility, structure, language, layout, overall presentation, usability and links.
The award was accepted by Jonathan Peacey, GM Fisheries Management, on behalf of the Ministry. Jonathan's presentation on the entire project at the Government IS conference in May 2009 can be viewed at
